Zoo-ed today! was pretty fun considering only the 2 of us and the rain which came when we were already wet, due to Philip's flapping around in the water which saw us all frantically digging for our brolly's and using it when Philip was going off when his show ended (he was flapping about again) Sea Lions are damn cute and they look nice and smooth to touch ; not forgetting the penguins also which definitely rate much higher on the cuteness scale the heavy downpour saw us walking rather briskly, shivering (was frigging cold, in contrast to me perspiring non stop the easlier part of the day), to the holding places of different animals and seeking shelter while waiting for the rain to get smaller; wondering why the animals are out in the rain and how would it feel like to have a tail to wag and my constant chants of "i must see the giraffes" were rewarded & there we heard a little boy "why are the giraffes standing like statues?" which cracked us up (they hardly moved, only their mouths) all these would have been more fun to walk about if we were wearing raincoats splashing about in puddles and raindrops trickling down your face & no mummys to say"dont get yourself wet, you'll fall sick" went for shelter at the polar bear's area, cracking melon seeds while waiting for time to pass (seriously damn auntie lar!) witness inuka's unwillingness to catch the live fish then gobble it up ended the lovely trip with b&js thanks to my friend for the icecream and the very lovely company(: shall share what i learnt today!(pics another day): giraffes slp barely four hrs a day no 2 other giraffes have the same prints on their bodies lions kill the cubs of the previous king and then reproduce a new blood line polar bears eat seals (!!!) i peeked at the world thru mie lil eyes 12:45 AM
