there's a stark difference between ho chi minh and spore. everything here is very orderly and nicely laid out whereas in ho chi minh, the chaos and order of buildings and traffic needs a bit getting used to. but one day is all you need. it was pretty hot over there, and we walked most of the time, till we were soaked in our pespiration and very tired. ate and drank minimal as we didnt know what was nice, and everywhere was mainly beef and pho. oh and they have their meals with a lot of different herbs which we are definitely not used to. you'll see a lot of motorcycles, cyclos, buses and cars. the traffic is crazy and people cross as and when they like, so that's one of the things we had to learn - just cross, people will give way to you. let them honk. besides that, people there seem to take it easy. or maybe they just have a different way of living. in the day, even the parks there are filled with people sitting around, talking to their friends. and occasionally when there are tourists, they'll mutter a few words and ask if you want to take their mode of transport. at night, many couples like to hang out there and that's something i hardly understand, but they'll just sit around and enjoy each other's company. also learnt about how mainly people there survived on 300usd a month (that's the normal families), and we met this girl who couldnt speak and cant hear at the salon and she earns only a 100usd a month doing nails for people. our guide at the tunnel also shared with us his story, how girls in HCM must get married by 25, guys by 30 and how he is already 31, almost got married 3 times but due to parental objections. all the little little interesting stories. shall let the pics do the talking and recap some parts of my trip (:           more pictures of humans are with seeks. till then! i peeked at the world thru mie lil eyes 5:14 PM
